How a referral works

1. You tell the chamber what you need and why.
2. You give explicit consent for your details to be shared.
3. The secretariat forwards it to the lender.
4. The lender decides, and deals with you directly.

Nothing is sent to a lender without your recorded consent. You can see where a referral has got to in your portal.

What OCCIMA does not do

The chamber does not lend money, hold funds, guarantee any facility, score your credit, or decide whether you qualify. It makes an introduction. If a referral does not succeed, that is the lender’s decision and the chamber had no part in it.
